Workspace
Configure public visibility controls, check URL slug availability, and connect custom domains to serve content.
1. Configure Public Visibility
- Navigate to Workspace Settings > General.
- Go to the Visibility dropdown.
- Choose your setting:
- Private: Workspace is restricted to invited team members.
- Public: Workspace articles are discoverable and indexed.
- Click Save Changes.
2. Check and Update the URL Slug
- Go to the General settings tab.
- Locate the Workspace Slug field.
- Edit the slug text. The system automatically performs an availability check.
- If available, click Save Slug to update your default workspace URL (e.g.
inkpilots.com/showcase/your-slug).
3. Connect a Custom Domain
- Navigate to the Domains tab.
- Click Add Domain and enter your custom domain URL (e.g.
blog.yourcompany.com). - Click Save. The domain status will update to Pending.
- Retrieve the DNS Records (CNAME, A record details, nameservers) displayed in the connection detail panel.
- Log into your domain registrar (e.g. GoDaddy, Cloudflare) and add the corresponding DNS records.
- Once DNS updates propagate, click Verify Connection to shift status to Verified.
- To remove a domain, click the trash icon next to the domain name.
