Schedules and Content Cycles
Workflow
Manage content cycles, assign tasks, and track movement from backlog to publication.
1. Create a Content Cycle
- Navigate to Workflow > Cycles.
- Click Create New Cycle.
- Set a start date, end date, and due date.
- Toggle active cycle selection from the workspace-level cycle indicator.
2. Track Assignment Progress
- Open the active cycle on the Kanban Board.
- Drag-and-drop assignment cards through the five states:
- Pending: Aassigned but writing has not started.
- In Progress: Currently active in the editor.
- Review: Ready for editorial review.
- Approved: Verified and ready to publish.
- Published: Article is live.
3. Roll Unfinished Work Forward
- When a content cycle ends, click Roll Forward.
- Select all unfinished assignments from the current board.
- Choose the target destination:
- New Cycle: Create and import them directly.
- Backlog: Return them to the backlog pool.
4. Review Cycle Analytics
- Go to the Analytics tab.
- Review completion deltas comparing current cycle targets to the previous period.
- Analyze individual performance metrics via the member contribution table.
